No problem, though I do believe that we have enough admins and mods.

Re: Getting this app out to the community
One thing about the forums is the forums aren't the most mobile friendly ever, which is why I use the desktop version. We need to work on design and then we promote the desktop version everywhere we can.

Wait scratch that, all we really need to do is post about the app anywhere we can. Alo see if you can't get other youtubers' to promote the app in a video or two.

Re: Getting this app out to the community
If this app were to get on this week's best, we would probably get more people on the forums to help us grow and prosper.

Someone should create a Facebook page for this app.

I'll keep on asking youtube channels to promote the app in their videos, someone should be nice enough, I see no reason for them to not be nice.

These are all the ideas I can think of to promote the app currently. Maybe later I'll have more ideas.

You can spread the word of the app by telling your friends about it and don't forget to mention the forums.

Re: Getting this app out to the community
My oh my, I'm inactive for a week or so and return to see the forums a buzzing. That's awesome to see. Contests, revamp of design, unity towards marketing the app and new mods and admins. Hopefully this is only the beginning. Well I'll explain how I found this app to hopefully aid you guys in the brainstorming department.
I actually had a few of the creators apps without even being aware of it until I joined the forums months after I had the eshop app. From cag, ign, to go nintendo I didn't realize eshopmaster had such a wide array of apps that I blindly downloaded without knowing the Creator haha. Anyways, the only motive I had to download was necessity for an eshop app and a simple search in the Google play store helped me find it. My two cents would be word of mouth, forum advertising, and positive reviews on the respective stores as it's pretty barren. I've already told my friends about this app and people I know as well as posted on a few forums without realizing there was a contest but that doesn't hamper my intentions haha. Let's work towards getting this app out there as there are rarely any good eshop/nintendo apps currently available, IMO.

As far as forum ideas go, I have quite a few I posted on the forum ideas thread. I have pretty good experience with forums as I used to run a few vBulletin boards many ages ago when they were the thing. lol

Re: Getting this app out to the community
Currently I think that 4 admins is enough, but as we get more member I see no problem in giving you moderator or administrative rights.

Re: Getting this app out to the community
I have received no replies from any of the youtube channels, some currently I have no idea if they will feature the app, but they probably won't which is why we need a promotional video. Is there anyone who would be willing to create a promotional video?

Re: Getting this app out to the community
Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for a mod or admin spot. You don't want to have the admin/mods to outnumber the amount of members in total. I'm just willing to offer my two cents and experience on forum ideas or on the technical side of running of forums. I haven't done it in ages and I'm much more busy nowadays then when I used to run forums back in the day haha.

If you want a spot you still can. You are the other person who has been on these forums a while. It's up to you, but yeah no more for a while. Especially as there are only 19 members I think.
Thanks everyone for trying. Maybe we'll have more luck in the future. I think I may run another contest next weekend so that may help. The last one got us about 100 more users. I kind of doubt this app will ever get big, but I think 2500 or so is a realistic goal. At least if things keep up I'm about breaking even now, so I shouldn't have to remove any expensive features.
Re: Getting this app out to the community
Unfortunately I haven't received any replies to my youtube post (although that was to be expected) so I think we should create a commercial to promote this app.
