A Couple Suggestions.

You could do some word association games that relate to Nintendo, such as a hangman type game or a twenty questions type deal where people ask questions to try and figure out what game or character or even programmer the poster is using. Winner takes next round. Games are a good way to get people posting on your forum, then they check out other posts and post on them. Just my two cents.

Yeah that's a good point. I've never actually made any games before, but it's something I'll look into. Really anything that makes people come back everyday would help me out with the free version, since it's supported by ads. I'm hard at work with the redesign now, but once it's done I'll be looking to add more features. Thanks!

No problem. I've used to have a role playing site many moons ago on the old ezboard.... Man I make myself feel old sometimes. Lol Anyways, I also had a discussion forum as well, a seperate page, and we used games like I described to get people hooked in. It works, just got to get word out.

Thanks. I will probably give that a try after the redesign is finished. I may need some details as I've never done that before. This is also the first forums I've ever ran. I guess on the bright side the low amount of users makes that easier.

It does make it easier as you don't need any moderators or fellow admins to police the board. Once you have a lot of members you'll need help just to make sure everyone keeps their posts PC and civil. Let's keep our fingers crossed that you can make it that popular. I'm sure you can.

I just realized that I forgot one more suggestion. A chatroom! A live chat where all us gamers can meet up and chat in real time. That would be freaking awesome! I'm not sure what all you have to do in order to implement that into the app but it would be awesome if you can do it.

I could probably do that. I'm going to do a poll soon asking what future features are most wanted. I'll add it to the poll and see if enough people want it.

You could see about making this an app for anything Nintendo shop (add wii shopping channel/wii ware and wii vc and dsi shop/dsi ware and apps)

Well I am going to be adding Wii U & 3DS apps later this month. I also plan on doing a list of maybe the top 30-50 Wiiware and DSiware games each. That will probably happen next month. Since I manually have to do everything myself I wouldn't want to go through all 300 or so Wiiware games and 600 DSiware games and list them all with info and such. That would take forever, and wouldn't be worth it as many of those games are terrible (mainly in DSiware). However there are some amazing Wiiware and DSiware games and I'd like to spotlight those. As for Wii VC. That'd also be a lot of work, but I may make a list of the most important Wii VC games that aren't on the Wii U VC yet. Thanks for the suggestions.

Oh, I forgot that there were over 600 DSiware games, well maybe in time, although maybe the community could be a dev team or something like that.

Yeah I have asked for volunteers before. I haven't had much luck with it. I may try again though. My goal is to have everything Nintendo download related including dlc. I just don't think I can get there on my own. I have to do this stuff in my small amount of freetime.

There was a miiverse app on the store at one point but bow it has been removed, you could implement Miiverse into this app and maybe that would help the community grow.

We can possibly do some sort of promo to encourage community activities pn the forums.

If we get a strong community maybe then you will get more help.

You should add the feature to switch between the two views without relying on the forums so people can use all the features without a computer.
