I can't decide if I should mostly download my Wii U games or not. So to anyone who reads this, are you going digital or physical for Wii U games? Or a combo of both?

I'm doing a combo. My method is if the game is something I never plan on selling and it's just been released I'll download it. If I plan on selling it later than digital is a bad way to go. Also if a game's been out for a while it's usually cheaper in retail. The worst offenders are some of the 3DS launch games. Pilotwings cost $34.99 on the eShop. You can find it at Gamestop for like $6.

I mainly purchase digital on my 3DS as it's easier to interchange games on the go. I agree with the previous post in that you could usually find better deals for physical copies rather than digital copies such as Pilotwings or Paper Mario Sticker Star. But for very popular games that see little to no price drop, it's definitely worth getting digital. It all comes down to whether you plan to sell it in the future and convenience.

For Wii U? Go physical. You can just move the discs in and out without much effort. For 3DS, on the other hand, I'm going mostly digital. Even to go so far as to sell Pokemon on eBay and download it on the eShop using the save transfer tool.

I prefer digital for smaller games, like Virtual Console or Indie Games. But when it comes to major releases, like Wind Waker HD, I always go physical copy.
